I had a pleasant and memorable experience being at GIFT University. The BSCS program not only equipped me with the necessary skill set in the field of Computer Science, but also with interpersonal, and management skills. The faculty is well-experienced and knowledgeable. Moreover, one should not be worried when the institute has mentors like Dr. Fakhar ul Islam Lodhi and Dr. Qaiser Shehryar Durrani. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
I had a great experience studying at GIFT University for 4 years. GIFT provided me with an opportunity to grow personally and socially. The institute keeps a good balance between the studies and extracurricular activities that I have not seen in many of the institutions. The faculty members are very knowledgeable and professional in their related fields. The learning curve never seemed to be going down. It is because of what I learned at GIFT, I was able to complete my Master in Data Science with distinction. Overall, it was a splendid experience to be a part of GIFT.
My journey at GIFT University has been amazing. Coming from a medical background in the engineering field has never been a hurdle for me, as the roadmap was designed with such excellence; teaching the core basics and then building it up with practical experience. I have not only gained knowledge of the field but also moral values that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Each faculty member has taught me something of the highest worth to apply in my professional career.
My tenure at GIFT University was splendid. No doubt, this is the best university in the region due to their excellent faculty and lab environment for the Computer Science department. All the teachers care about how the students are doing within the course and whether they understand or not, rather than just giving out information and letting the students absorb it however they want.
GIFT University is my second home. I have built great relationships with my classmates, teachers, and staff. Being at GIFT University has been an amazing experience for me that has helped me grow personally and professionally.
Studying at GIFT has been a good investment in the development of my work life. I completed a degree in Computer Science. They provided me with practical knowledge and, at the same time, gave me a head start to get into the field. The faculty is competent and supportive. It was a great experience.
GIFT University, especially SEAS, has shaped my career in a magnificent way. Along with the academic studies, it has given me abundant opportunities to participate in non-scholastic activities. It has been my honor to be taught by professional instructors. For my professional grooming, they embedded ethical values and leadership skills through their practical industrial exposure and left no stone unturned to shape my future.
Highly competent instructors of SEAS have motivated me to continue my higher studies. Overall, it was a splendid and memorable experience.
I’m proud to be a student from one of the initial batches of the EE department. One thing I want to highlight here is, faculty was very helpful and available whenever we reached out for any guidance. Throughout the degree, we had a great interaction with HOD and teachers. I would suggest adding some internships in the degree and also to keep providing students with some professional opportunities outside the university.
I have the honor of being among the first graduating batch of the Electrical Engineering Department and despite facing so many challenges in building the new department, I’ve seen it grow with time. It was a new experience, back then, for all of us, but the support and coordination of faculty and university administration helped me step into practical life successfully. I am currently working as an R&D manager at Paklites, Gujranwala branch, and my learning at GIFT has helped me shape my personality.
Before joining GIFT, I had some technical experience and knew a few basics of engineering. The electrical engineering department helped me narrow down the area of my interest. It gave me technical knowledge on a higher level and helped me professionally and practically grooming myself. Although being in initial batches had its challenges associated as everything was raw, seeing it take good initiatives over the years has given me hope that this department will flourish.
GIFT University offers diversity in terms of knowledge and culture. It helps to prepare an individual for outside experiences. My time at GIFT Electrical Engineering Department has served me as a base to start my own business as a construction company in Dubai. I am running a successful business with strong knowledge of engineering and I hope to see our department grow on new grounds and keep preparing individuals for real–world challenges.
Overall, it was a good experience but I was not able to explore the outside world due to the tough daily routine, and back in our time at EED, there were very few extracurricular activities. I can say that I have learned a lot through these difficulties. The issues and challenges we face during our academics do prepare us for the outside world on personal or professional levels. And I wish the EE department to flourish in the future.
