After completing a Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical technology, Mr. Saleh Rashid enrolled in a B.Sc. Electrical Engineering UET, Lahore. After he graduated as an Electrical Engineer, he started working as a design engineer in DESCON Integrated Projects Pvt. Ltd (DIPL). After brief industry experience, as the most suitable person in the family at that time, he started taking care of family-owned business in Gujranwala. Business experience enabled him to enhance his leadership skills. He has joined GIFT University as a Faculty member After completing his Master degree in – Sustainable Environmental and Energy Systems (SEES) in a competitive yet learning environment at the Middle East Technical University (METU), Northern Cyprus Campus. He is working as Lecturer at Gift since 2019 and taught several undergraduate courses. His research focuses on solar resource modeling and Energy efficient circuits and systems. Currently he is working on solar resource modeling of PV panels installed at GIFT University campus and has plans to propose a computation model for PV panels to be installed on Girls campus at GIFT University.
