Usman Ali is currently associated with the School of Engineering and Applied sciences at GIFT University, Gujranwala as a Lecturer. Prior to that, he worked as a research associate at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Information Technology University (ITU) Lahore. He completed his MS in Electrical Engineering from ITU Lahore with Dean’s Honor. He secured a Gold Medal in BS Electrical Engineering from GIFT University, Gujranwala.

His research interest centered around Fault diagnosis using machine learning and signal processing, data science, and cybersecurity.
