Arslan Tariq is a PhD Computer Science Scholar at University of Gujrat, Pakistan and currently working on his thesis. He has pursued his MS in Computer Science from The University of Lahore, Lahore, Pakistan and serves as a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at GIFT University, Gujranwala, Pakistan. Arslan Tariq’s background spans a diverse range of disciplines and mediums, prior to joining GIFT University as a permanent faculty member, he served the Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at University of Gujrat as a Research Officer for almost 1 years and The University of Lahore, Gujrat Campus for almost 6 years. He teaches at both graduate and undergraduate levels. His research interests center around the Human Computer Interaction, Geographic Information Systems and Location based services and more specifically Indoor Location Services. He has published more than 12 research papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has a passion to teach courses in the domain of Programming Paradigms and Applied Computer Science.
