As a lecturer at The GIFT University, I would like to first of all say welcome! My previous experience includes more than twelve years of hands-on experience in the IT industry along with experience in academia as a lecturer at The University of the Punjab Gujranwala Campus. I possess a Masters in Software Project Management from one of the most prestigious institutes in Pakistan named FAST Lahore. I started my career as a software quality assurance engineer in a Sweden-based multinational and then I returned to academia in 2017 and I took up a lectureship in PUGC and later I began my career at The GIFT University.

Outside the realm of academia, I have worked as a lead SQA Engineer for different industry projects ranging from desktop to web and mobile to cloud base applications. Being an industry professional, I try to bring a unique value to the classroom, as well as provide fresh insights – something which can otherwise be difficult to come across anywhere else.

Throughout these experiences, I have developed what I believe is considerable knowledge and I very much look forward to sharing this knowledge and experience with you as a student of The GIFT University as to have a real understanding of the industry before graduating can be a real deal-breaker for some students.
